Q: I simply must have some of your cider – where can I get it? A: Of course you must have some of our cider! Please click hereto see our list of suppliers, and keep an eye out for our online shop which will be opening soon
Q: Is it cloudy like the proper stuff? A: Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t. We make our cider in the traditional way which means accepting whatever nature throws at us – wind, rain, sun, an exceptionally cold summer or a particularly warm spring. These factors and many more affect the apples and also the fermenting and maturing processes. This means that while our cider is always of good quality, each vintage has it’s own characteristics – in both taste and appearance. We always get a real buzz from tasting the new season’s cider. And just a note about the ‘proper stuff’ – it’s not always as proper as it may seem…..
Q: Do you use concentrates? A: No, never. We only make real cider from real apples, using the fresh juice from local apples that we press on the family farm in Midford near Bath every autumn.
Q: Is the cider in your glass bottles different from your other cider? A: It’s the same – but different. It’s the same great cider, but a little brighter and sparklier. If draught still cider isn’t quite your thing (in which case well done for reading this far!) – we’re sure this’ll hit the mark.
Q: How strong is it? A: It’s 6.5% alcohol by volume - so don’t give it to your kids, your granny, your dog or anyone else who doesn’t know better…. Please enjoy our cider – responsibly!
